Ukulele Aloha Series
Unlike many instructors who teach song-by-song without a plan, my students follow my proprietary 5-level Ukulele Book Series. This expanded 8-book suite provides a logical progression from your first strum to advanced solo performance:
- Level 0: The Primer The perfect starting point with a singular goal: having fun singing and playing the ukulele. This book focuses on the immediate joy of music-making.
- Level 1: Foundation (Book 1) Build joyful confidence with essential chords and rhythms.
- Level 2: Strengthening Foundations & Technical Expansion (Books 2A & 2B) Expand your repertoire while deepening your musicality.
- Book 2A: Focuses on strengthening core skills and introducing practical music theory.
- Book 2B: Deepens technical mastery to ensure a seamless transition to intermediate play.
- Level 3: Early Intermediate (Books 3A & 3B) Begin exploring more complex arrangements and the art of easy solo playing.
- Level 4: Intermediate Development (Book 4) Master the two-finger style to enrich your solo performance and prepare for complex fingerstyle techniques.
- Level 5: Performance Artistry (Book 5) Achieve total proficiency in three-finger and four-finger styles, reaching the heights of advanced fingerstyle and solo artistry.
