Hi, I’m Dr. Jay Lai — a musician, educator, and Golden Melody Award nominee (Taiwan’s equivalent of the GRAMMYs), now based in San Francisco.
With a Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology and over 25 years of international experience, I help students of all ages connect to the timeless beauty of the Guzheng.
My lessons go beyond technique; they are about cultivating a meaningful cultural practice in our modern world.
